We are delighted to announce that The Accessible Digital Documents Company Ltd has been successful in its bid to become a G-Cloud 9 supplier. We have been approved by Crown Commercial Services to offer a range of cloud support services to the public sector, to help organisations create barrier free access to digital content which will allow them to reach the widest possible audience.
The Accessible Digital Documents Company is the UK’s longest-established provider of PDF accessibility services, having specialised in this field since 2003. We have been ebook accessibility specialists since 2012, and also offer training in both fields, as well as in commissioning accessible PDFs.
Public and education sector clients
Public and education sector organisations have formed part of our client base from the outset. Our client list includes Belfast City Council, The Department for Transport, The Department for Work and Pensions, the Economic and Social Research Council, The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Home Office, the House of Lords, the Natural Environment Research Council, the Open University and University of Bradford.
Now as a G-Cloud 9 supplier we look forward to continuing our relationships with established clients, as well as working with many new organisations.
PDF and ebook accessibility services
We are able to offer PDF document creation, fixing, testing and auditing, optimising against WCAG 2.0, and PDF/UA when appropriate. In relation to ebook testing and benchmarking we aim to optimise accessibility across all the relevant standards using multiple ebook readers, devices and platforms.
We offer full day, half day and 3 day courses to organisations wishing to embed or improve a culture of high standards in accessible content creation. We also offer a short course on how to successfully and cost-effectively commission accessible PDFs. Our courses have been developed over more than a decade, and our training is unique in its breath and depth.
