Director biographies
Ted Page
Ted specialises in PDF accessibility across a range of document types from annual reports to exam papers. He also runs five different document accessibility training courses. These have been developed over a period of more than 16 years, and cover all aspects of creating accessible PDFs from Adobe InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word and Foxit, as well as testing with multiple assistive technologies (screen readers, screen magnifiers, literacy software, speech recognition software and more).
Ted is a former BBC web producer and a former sound engineer for, amongst others, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Joni Mitchell and Jeff Beck. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE).
Sonia Purser
From its creation Sonia Purser has been associated with the Accessible Digital Documents Company and its predecessor business PWS Ltd. She specialises in business management, copywriting, and editing.
Sonia has many years’ experience of arranging professionally accredited training, project management, and event organisation. She has also worked on policy and campaigning issues for bodies such as The Law Society of England and Wales and the consumer group Which?
While no longer in legal practice, originally Sonia qualified as a solicitor after graduating from King’s College, University of London.
